Echeveria with blackfly
Cure
Light infestations can often be dealt with simply by hosing them off. If that doesn't work, spraying them with insecticidal soap will work nicely
Another green method is to use Neem Oil with Pyrethrin, which is made from chrysanthemums, can be safely used in vegetable gardens, fruit & nut trees & ornamentals. It provides immediate control of ants, aphids, mealy bugs and spider mites
Biological controls are available for plants growing in greenhouses or conservatories. See
links for a list of suppliers.
